Carney In Masters Golf Competition

"The Alice Springs Masters Games, like life, is all about participation,” says Jodeen Carney, Leader of the Opposition.

"And this year, along side my mother who made the trip from Victoria, and hundreds of other registered masters, I am playing golf

"The Alice Springs Golf Course is regarded as one of the top ten desert courses in the world, where the facilities, like the competition, is first class.

"I'm hoping my local knowledge will give me some advantage!”

"Last games I managed to score three bronze medals, however, hopeful as I am, I am not expecting to be quite as lucky this year. But I am willing to give it my best.”

The Masters Games relies on the vital contribution of all participants, who as athletes, ambassadors and volunteers devote their time and efforts to ensure its continuing success.
